Barbara, I miss your early morning text to me saying;
“Are you up yet” this at 5:00 am…
and as I write this at 4:00 am “I’m Up”
Always with a “Hello or Hi! what are you up to today”
With a sign off “I love you Sis” with her (emoji heart) signature.
Meet My sister Barb,
She had a beautiful soul. She was a sweet, gentle and kind person.
She was a great listener.
Always excited to see you or anyone that would walk in the room.
She would always greet you with such joy, a smile and a hug and always had an animated facial expression of surprise.
There was days we would laugh till we peed our pants…
Fart and laugh even harder that our stomach hurt.
Cry when we were sad, get mad at each other and wouldn’t talk for a few days.
Apologize to each other and start all over again…
Barb had a heart of gold, so quick to offer you the shoes off her feet. She would help anyone that was in need.
She didn’t have much herself but so much love to give.
Barb walked in humility.
She had her struggles and sadness in her life but showed so much love through her pain.
Nothing bad to say about anyone…
She was my younger sister, the quieter one, of course I was the loud one… all because you had the softest kindest heart.
but My Sister first, My Very Best Friend, the Love of my life…
I’m going to miss my Thrift Store Buddy,
always looking for a special treasure… get excited and when one of us would say “Oh! look what I found”
Of course you will always be in my memory Barb, forever,
but I would rather have you by my side and to tell you just how much I loved you more.
This is not a permanent goodbye forever because I truly will see you again…
I’m sure of it…
My last text to you… I love you too
This is Your Time…
7 You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith.
8 Finally, there is laid up for you the crown of righteousness,
which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to you on that Day,
and not to you only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
2 Timothy 4:7-8 NKJV
Barb, I Love You and you will be sadly missed,
